10 Techniques To Improve Your Speaking Skills

1. Education is about learning the basic principles, but to become an effective speaker is to practice what you have learned. My stint as guest at every single Toastmasters’ conference I go to taught me that people all have our boundaries, but that does not imply we can’t understand to keep up and reveal what we know.

2. It’s just as critical as asking questions. Sometimes listening to the sound of our personal voice can teach us to be somewhat bit confident with ourselves and to say the things we believe in with confidence.

3 Most of us make errors, and at times we have a tendency to slur our words, stutter, and most likely mispronounce specific words although we know what it means, but seldom use it only to wow listeners. And so in a group, do not be afraid to ask if you’re saying the best word correctly and if they are not sure about it then make a joke from it. I promise you it’ll make every person giggle and it is possible to get away with it also.

4 There is a whole lot to say with regards to directing your attention to your audience with an eye-catching gaze. It’s critical which you keep your focus when speaking with a huge group in a meeting or a gathering, although he or she might be gorgeous.

5 A little bit of humor can do miracles to lift the tension, or worse indifference when creating your talk. This way, you’ll get the attention of the majority of the crowd and they’ll feel that you’re just as approachable, and as human to those that listen.

6. Interaction is all about interacting with other individuals. You’ll get a whole lot of ideas, also as realizing what individuals make them as they are. This interior design services has a suggestion box for this issue.

7. Be honest, you will find instances you sing to your self inside the bathtub. I know I do! Hearing the sound of your personal voice whilst you practice your speech looking at a mirror can help correct the stress areas of your pitch. And whilst you’re at it it is possible to spruce up also.

8. A grin says it all a lot like eye contact. At this sexy stories website, the number of smiles directly results in more customers. There is no point on grimacing or frowning in a conference or a get together, unless it’s a wake. You can greater express what you’re saying if you smile.

9. There need to be at least 1 or 2 individuals in your life you might have paid attention to when they’re at a community gathering or maybe at cathedral. Sure they read their lines, but choosing a mental note of how they highlight what they say can allow you to when you take center stage.

10. Make the best out of preparing rather than just scribbling notes and frequently in a hurried panic. Several individuals like to write things down on index cards, whilst different make use of being somewhat far more silly as they examine their notes written on the palm of their hand (not for clammy hands, please). You should be comfy with what you know because you enjoy your work.

What Are The 5 Areas Of Achievements To Be Focused in 2017

I want you to know that there’s no better time than to get excited about your life and goals – not because it’s going to turn 2017, it’s simply because today is always the best time.

There are 5 areas of life and personal improvement that I would seek to improve – health, relationship, spirituality, financial wealth and personal growth.

None of them are at a higher priority than the others as they’re all holistically balanced to create the right combination of success in life.

It’s a fact that if you don’t have financial wealth, your life could be slightly ‘inconvenient’. If you gonna give me the lecture that the monks and priests live happily ever after without seeking wealth, then I’m not going to argue with you. But look – you’re no monk or priest so be real, nothing to be embarrassed of.

Money is never evil. It’s a big wrong myth that rich people are arrogant, greedy or selfish and as a matter of fact, most of them are the opposite. So I would suggest you to make your goal setting in 2017 to get to know some millionaires and rich people to learn what their secrets to wealth are. Who knows – they might even pass you some opportunities you can work together with them.

If you think you’re poor today, it’s because you ‘choose’ to become this way by your acts and thoughts. Same thing – if you’re rich, it’s because the way how you act upon opportunities and think of positive outcomes.  People just don’t understand how Law of Attraction actually works.

Look – you have to work for your own success. If you’re smart, you buy some courses or attend seminars to uncover the shortcuts or just take the long road by testing out on your own. Your choice. Both ways are fine and both still require work.

The other 2 important areas that are usually missed out when someone pursue the goal of attaining financial wealth is relationship and health. My friend, time flies very fast. Within a blink of an eye, you’ll see your children already grown up or your folks getting old. So cherish what you have now because by end of the day, your success is actually measured by the relationship that you have – not the money in your bank account.

Health? Put it this way, you can’t enjoy spending your money earned if you don’t have the body and mind to enjoy it. But I can tell you this – don’t be a health freak and miss out the joy of life. I mean, don’t eat cheese burger every day but hey, don’t torture yourself of not eating that because you’re worried that you’re going to get heart attack or something. Life is short – enjoy your food but just don’t go extreme on it. Dude, I’m not asking you to take drugs, it’s a cheese burger for Pete’s sake.

One more thing about health – if you can afford it, do take supplements especially those green stuff supplements. Our food and environment are getting worse so you need whatever ‘effortless’ thing to give you the edge to stay focus, energetic and vibrant when you’re on track to success.

Spirituality comes from within. Whether it’s your connection to God, your inner voice, Law of Attraction and so on, it gives you the serenity and harmony in your mind and soul. You need that. You’ve seen and heard of stories people ‘let go’ of everything and pursue a greater goal because they have aligned with their spirituality part and ultimately, it leads to happiness. My point? Spirituality leads to happiness. Interestingly, our goal is suppose to seek happiness but you don’t see people attending seminars about this topic because they thought financial wealth makes them happy and so on. The truth… happiness is obtain when you’re grateful with what you have and understands that you have a beautiful life – regardless of who you are.

And lastly, I’ll be seeking for more personal growth in 2017. Personal growth is about enriching your experience and expanding your knowledge. You see, the only thing that does not change is Change itself. So if you want to transform yourself into a better person in any positive angle, then I highly suggest you to uncover many more secrets to personal growth that you are still unaware of.

Whether you attend seminars regularly, listen to audios or read more self improvement blog, it’s your responsibility to continue ‘upgrading’ yourself. No one’s going to motivate you or give you the cutting edge strategies for success – you got to seek that out for yourself because, again, it’s your life.

One more thing – stop telling people about your sad story or TELLING YOURSELF, get over that and start thinking how you can reach your goals (but please, not by asking the Universe to give you money).

All the best…

Harnessing Your Inner Power To Succeed In Any Home Business

One of the greatest forces to ever occur is the human mind, and you can apply that in business very simply. The cause for this is simply that the thoughts and resulting behavior you hold on a daily basis will have more of an effect on your business than the most costly course ever made. In terms of engaging in any offline or web based business, it is just a situation of learning what is involved with it.

When you imagine about it, we basically discover or buy information that teaches how to complete something like building a squeeze page or bringing in traffic to our various sites. Not any of those things are tough to learn or do, and the info is freely available for the person who needs to find it. Yet it is commonly recognized that not everybody succeeds in business, and that implies that there is something more to the situation.

For decades, much has been written with regards to the various subjects that relate to believing, behavior and achieving goals in life and business. It is straightforward really, and just think about it in terms of demand and the desire of so many people to figure out why it is a problem for them. There are many approaches to bettering one’s success attitude.

Some approaches and techniques will be more successful for different people, and there are plenty of reasons for that. But not a lot will change, overall, and there will continue to be those who attempt and quit. We do understand and admit that modifying the way one thinks is not an easy process, and possibly partly because of that a lot of people will never even consider it.

Just some cases of what we are talking about include the evergreen areas of human psychology such as self-belief, self esteem, capacity to believe and have faith and other similar and related areas. We all can intuitively observe and fully grasp why these areas are so essential. Yet so many people choose to ignore these personal qualities, if they have them. It really is one thing to have no awareness of these attributes and their consequence, but we are inclined to think a lot of people do and simply never address them.

What makes these particular qualities so damaging is that often times they cause people to take part in self sabotage. It is much less complicated for the mind to act out sabotaging initiatives than it is to deal with the issues and do the hard work to defeat them.

Naturally there can be a lot of hard work and effort involved with overcoming personal issues, but it is achievable. True accomplishment, for the person with personal challenges, will start by admitting the existence of these distinct issues. The courageous choice is to admit it, and then make a decision to do something about it.

Doing this kind of work with yourself will necessitate dedication, and naturally changes will take time. A suitable analogy can be found with building and expanding a business. Whether it’s traditional business like selling solar panels for your home or online business like supplying cell phone tracker software package, requires effective planning, implementation as well as execution in every single stages to achieve success.

In business, you have to tackle your goals and tasks in order of top priority and importance, and you understand it takes time to develop a business. In fact, you cannot absolutely transform yourself overnight, and you will be setting yourself up for frustration and setback if you attempt. Recognize what your obstacles are and never feel frightened of them or that you cannot overcome them. If anything, avoid fighting yourself over it, and maybe find a way to move forward regardless of the challenges.

Golden Tip: How To Live In Harmony When Things Go Bad

When things seem to collapse around you or when nothing seems to change for the better, it’s a challenge to live in harmony and to feel harmony in your life. But luckily there is a way to instantly transform the chaos you’re experiencing into balance and inner peace.

How To Live In Harmony When Things Go Bad

Let’s face it, it isn’t particularly easy to keep going and to stay positive minded when things don’t seem to get any better in your life- or they do a bit, but you’ve not reached your desired goals yet. Especially when you’ve been working so hard for such a long time on every level to make things happen.

You’re taking every possible and conceivable step, you’re doing the inner and the outer work, and yet nothing seems to have physically appeared to show you you’re making progress (or have hit the big breakthrough you desire).

Talk about being challenged!

It’s easy to lose heart at times like these and to allow your mind to sink into negative thinking.

But there is one thing that will have you live in harmony again in an instant and that is to remember that everything is in love.

Spirit is all about love and Spirit talks only in the language of love. So when things don’t seem to go as you would like them to and you’re not happy with reality as it is, go back to love and you will instantly release the fight, the frustration, the anger and doubt that have been occupying your mind and energy.

And how exactly do you release the fight, go back to love and live in harmony again?

Allow the feelings – all feelings- that are coming up for you to be present. Resisting them or fighting them doesn’t make them go away. In fact, they will remain or get even stronger. Pretending certain feelings are not there isn’t going to fool the universe. The universe feels your energy.

And when you’re feeling stuck or this feels like a heavy burden to carry all by yourself: ask for spiritual guidance. Spirit is the key, the connection, to live in harmony and Spirit wants only what is right for you- and what’s right for you is love.

So acknowledge how you feel and then turn to love and ask: what does Spirit say?

You will find that Spirit will answer with love and show you the way again to live in harmony.

5 Quick Tips to Reduce Stress and Stop Anxiety

Like a monster from under the bed, stress and/or anxiety is stealing the peaceful nighttime Zzzzzs of billions of people. Anxiety may also be sabotaging your confidence, turning your stomach into knots, and impacting your general wellbeing.

1. Remember: This Too Shall Pass

Laundry is piling up, the baby has a fever, and your boss wanted that report yesterday. Sound familiar? No one managing his or her own life is devoid of stress and too much of it can lead to excessive worry, nervousness, dread, upset stomach, or difficulty breathing. The first step to overcoming such negative feelings is to recognize that you are experiencing a very common emotional state most commonly identified as anxiety (learn more signs of anxiety). Although it’s uncomfortable, the negative feelings WILL PASS. Fighting the anxiety can make it stronger. Paradoxically, accepting that you are feeling anxious helps activate the body’s natural relaxation response.

2. Learn How to Self-Soothe

Imagine walking down a nature path only to be greeted by a snarling grizzly bear — or worse, your boss demanding that report. When we are faced with an anxiety-inducing situation, our body’s sympathetic nervous system automatically triggers physiological changes. Our breathing quickens, adrenaline is secreted, and our heart begins to race. This natural survival mechanism — called the fight or flight response — is intended to help us to escape a true, life threatening emergency. However, when the threat is imagined (e.g., I’m going to bomb this presentation and everyone will know I’m a fraud), the fight/flight response is unnecessary and very uncomfortable.Self soothing techniques that reduce the stress response:

Diaphragmatic Breathing

One of the most effective ways to activate the relaxation response is by decreasing the heart rate. Since we can’t voluntarily alter our pulse, more tangible measures are needed. Luckily, a rapid heart rate can be lowered with deep breathing techniques. The most commonly utilized strategy is breathing by contracting the diaphragm, a horizontal muscle in the chest located just above the stomach cavity.

Positive Self-talk

If a small child told you he was nervous about going to school the next day, what would you say? Unless you’re an abusive lunatic, phrases like “you’re such a dumb little kid” or “you should be nervous because no one will like you” would never leave your mouth. This is because we intuitively know how to help others combat stress sometimes better than ourselves. To increase emotional comfort, it’s imperative to practice reassuring and realistic self-talk. When anxious, practice self-talk phrases such as:

“This feeling will pass.”

“I will get through this.”

“I am safe right now.”

“I am feeling anxious now, but I have the power make myself calm.”

“I can feel my heart rate slowing down.”

Muscle Relaxation

Stress causes our muscles to tighten and become tense. To increase a relaxed state and physical comfort, tighten and release muscles beginning with the largest muscle group.

3. Check Your Diet

What we eat and drink largely impacts our emotional state. Foods most associated with exacerbating anxiety are ones containing caffeine and alcohol. Even consumed in small amounts, studies have found that the stimulating effects of caffeine can cause anxiety, trigger panic attacks, and increase feelings of nervousness and irritability. Caffeine — commonly found in coffee, colas, tea, and chocolate — also causes physical symptoms such as trembling and shaking.

Abruptly eliminating caffeine from the diet can lead to withdrawal symptoms, such as headaches, restlessness, and irritability so it’s important to decrease caffeine consumption gradually. Similarly, although alcohol is often consumed to “take the edge off” it dehydrates the body and ultimately increases anxiety.

An imbalance of bacteria in the gut can also cause many symptoms associated with anxiety and other mood disorders. Researchers at McMaster University found evidence that the balance of bacteria in your gut may have more to do with your mood than any other contributing factor.

4. Get Moving

Most of us know that exercise is good for our physical health. Maintaining a regular (healthy, non-obsessive) exercise routine has been proven to reduce stress, improve mood, enhance self-esteem, and increase energy levels. During exercise, the body releases chemicals called endorphins which interact with receptors in the brain to causing euphoric feelings and reduction in physical pain.

5. Get More Sleep

Nearly everyone feels a little crabby after a rough night’s sleep. Disrupted sleep is common in many emotional disorders and it’s difficult to know which started first — stress or poor sleep. A study from the University of Pennsylvania showed that losing just a few hours of sleep increases feelings of stress, anger, sadness, and exhaustion.

20 Tips to Tame Your Stress

Stress hits us all in life, and while a little stress is good — it keeps us focused and motivated — too much of it and it can grind our lives to a complete halt. When you’re feeling overwhelmed and stressed-out, you may become paralyzed and unable to do much of anything.

Just as bad are unhealthy coping methods to deal with stress. Turning to food, alcohol or drugs often just turns one set of problems into another that can balloon out of control. It’s better to avoid those unhealthy coping mechanisms from the start, and find good ways to keep your stress under control.

There are many ways to tame your stress and keep it at bay. Here are 20 tips to tame your stress today, and keep the stress monsters at bay.

1. Perform diaphragmatic or “deep breathing” exercises.

2. Lie face down on the floor and begin breathing deeply and slowly, with your hands resting under your face. Do this for five minutes.

3. Sit in a reclining chair. Put a hand on your abdomen and a hand on your chest. As you breathe, make sure the hand on your abdomen is moving up and down rather than one on your chest. If the hand on your abdomen is moving you are breathing deeply and slowly.

4. Try progressive muscle relaxation or “deep muscle” relaxation. Progressively tense and relax each muscle group in your body. Learn the difference between muscle tension and relaxation.

5. Meditate. Use visualization or guided imagery to help you learn to be one with your thoughts. Sit quietly with your eyes closed, imagining the sights, sounds and smells of your favorite place, such as a beach or mountain retreat.

6. Exercise regularly or take up yoga.

7. Consult a psychologist about the use of biofeedback.

8. Make time for music, art or other hobbies that help relax and distract you.

9. Learn to identify and monitor stressors. Come up with an organized plan for handling stressful situations. Be careful not to overgeneralize negative reactions to things.

10. Make a list of the important things you need to handle each day. Try to follow the list so you feel organized and on top of things. Put together a coping plan step by step so you have a sense of mastery.

11. Keep an eye on things that might suggest you’re not coping well. For example, are you smoking or drinking more, or sleeping less?

12. Keep a list of the large and little hassles in your day versus the major stressful events in your life. This helps you focus on the fact that you’re keeping track of and managing those as well as you can.

13. Set aside a time every day to work on relaxation.

14. Avoid using caffeine, alcohol, nicotine, junk food, binge eating and other drugs as your primary means for coping with stress. While they can be helpful once in awhile, using them as your only or usual method will result in longer-term problems, such as weight problems or alcoholism.

15. Learn to just say, “No” occasionally. It won’t hurt other people’s feelings as much as you think and is simply a method to be more assertive in your own life, to better help you meet your own needs.

16. Get the right amount of sleep. For most people, this is seven to nine hours a night.

17. Cultivate a sense of humor; laugh.

18. Research has shown that having a close, confiding relationship protects you from many stresses.

19. Don’t run from your problems! This only makes them worse.

20. Talk to your family and friends. See if they can help.

If these tips don’t help, or you’ve tried a lot of them with little luck in better taming the stress in your life, it may be time to consider taking it up a notch. A mental health professional — such as a psychologist — can help teach you more effective methods for handling stress in a healthy way in your life. Such psychotherapy is short-term and time-limited, with a focus on helping you better deal with stress.

Remember — we do have control over the stress and choices we make in our lives. It sometimes takes a little practice and effort to put some of these techniques into play in your life. But once you do so, you may be pleasantly surprised at the positive benefits you’ll receive.

5 Best Things to Do When Everything Goes Wrong

Life has its ups and down. There are times when you feel nothing’s going your way. You have done everything you could but that just doesn’t seem enough. There are things beyond your control affecting you and you can’t do anything about them. Everything is just so wrong!

God becomes the famous culprit in such situations. Ohh God!! Why me!! What did I do!! Then you start blaming your partner, your family, friends, colleagues, everyone comes under the blame zone. And others blame themselves for everything! I belong to the latter category. I am like it must be my fault. Ohh yes it is my fault!! I discourage myself to the point that my self-confidence goes for a toss.WHEN EVERYTHING GOES WRONG

When everything goes wrong, you cry, you pity yourself, you blame yourself, you think you have done everything you could do, but have you seriously given it your best shot?

For instance you lose your job, you would say, why me, what wrong did I do? Ask yourself, did I do the right things then? Did I work hard? If not, then you are the one who needs to change. And if yes, then go ahead and find another job, don’t get a job start a business. You would say that it is easy to say so, to which I would say is, STOP GIVING EXCUSES! If you are the best then nothing is going to stop you.

Your relationship fails, don’t just blame your partner for it. If you really love the person then give it your best shot. I am not asking you to be the doormat in your relationship with only you working for it, but as they say it takes two to make the relationship work.

I read an article sometime back, the writer said

IT’S YOUR LIFE, IT’S YOUR REALITY, YOU DON’T LIKE IT, THEN CHANGE IT!

This is something which has stayed with me till now, long after I finished reading the article.
When things go wrong, it is very easy to lose track of yourself and feel helpless, it’s easy to blame others, blame yourself, many also get suicidal! But before you commit to do anything ask yourself, whatever you are doing is it helping your cause?!If not then do something that helps it and not something that makes it worse!

I am not that good with dealing with these situations either, but yes I am getting better at it and maybe in the future I’ll have better solutions on how to deal with situations when everything goes wrong. For now I have these.

 1. Don’t blame others, don’t blame yourself either.

Someone said this to me the other day, “It is not about, it’s your fault or it’s my fault, sometimes it is just the situation.” It need not be someone’s mistake always!

2. Have faith in yourself.

When everything goes wrong, have faith in yourself. Tell yourself you can deal with any situation. Believe in yourself that is the most important thing.

3. Give it time.

Be it is losing a job, failure of a relationship, rejection, failure or even something tragic as death, give it time. Time does heal everything!

4. Do something which makes you Happy.

When everything goes wrong being happy is not something which is on top of your mind, but it is not the end of life. It is just a phase and this too shall pass. Gardening helps you? Music soothes you? Reading relaxes you? Go ahead do it.

5. Work Hard but also Smart.

Working 6 hours a day productively makes much more sense than working 12 hours a day unproductively. Use your mind, energy and strength in your favour not against you.

Let me tell you one more thing, you are not alone, everyone goes through their when everything goes wrong phase.

It is human tendency to feel better instantly when you know you are not the only one having problems!!!

It may not solve the problem at hand but surely gives you the strength to deal with it!!!

I have been through these situations, I know times can be difficult, Ikeep faith in myself, I write, it soothes me, I fail too, but I am still trying.

 HAPPY BELIEVING IN YOURSELF…..
